Take me away...somewhere far away....

I always like Vodafone ads...be it the the ones with the pug and the little girl, the zoo zoo ads or the recent one(record your busy tone if you cant take calls)
But I love this one ad in particular, where the guy waits in the lift for the girl. And I love the song that plays in the background...

"Blue skies and open air
There's a place for us away
Take me away somewhere far away
Beyond the sun
Take me away somewhere far away..."

That's how I exactly feel right now.Just want to go away somewhere.(Beyond the sun would also do or maybe on the moon...or the rainbow....if possible!)Not becuase I hate my life where I am!Of course not!But just feels like travelling to a different place.Discover new cultures and meet new people and just be a free bird!
Anyway...check out the video if you havent already seen it....
(And if anyone knows where I can find the entire song, do let me know.)

Hey I'm the same way... Feel like traveling... going away visiting new places, experiencing new cultures...

And btw Vodafone is quite good compared to all the other network service providers.

And PJ.. I too think that Vodafone does some very good ads.. The I'm busy I can't take your call right now ad is the latest in a long line of very creative ads.

@Carmel
I dunno how many times I've said this by now...but still, we are so similar!!!:D

yea I love the way they sing it...hehehe...and specially the cuuuute baby in the end who's sleeping with his father :)

Have you heard "Pocketful of Sunshine" by Natasha Bedingfield?

The chorus goes like this:
Take me away, A secret place
A sweet escape, Take me away
Take me away to better days
Take me away a hiding place

And sometimes I find myself really meaning that when I sing it for whatever reasons.. lol!

And yea... we are similar in many ways..

I haven't heard the song...but it was one of the songs which I found out about when I googled the lyrics for this song.
Later I came to know that the song was made by Vodafone specially for the advert.

yea...'take me away to a better place...to a hiding place'...when one wants to get away from all the chaos...:)

too bad that Vodafone doesn't make full song lol. I am Airtel fan though. But Vodafone/hutch ads always rocked.

Very True!! I don't remember lyrics of Hindi songs as well coz I stress on listening to the music more, so I have to end up making lyrics myself lol

Would loved it even more if a full version of this song is available. Still hoping that someone would take up the bread crumbs and complete the song. Pretty nostalgic. Just awesome
